I went out for brunch with some of my awesome blogging friends today, and even though it was sunny and warmer than it has been, it was still a little chilly. I decided to don some black on black on black for a quick easy look.
I got this gorgeous pencil skirt from Lucabella recently, and I love how the ponti fabric hugs my curves and puts a bit of a wiggle in my step.
I paired it with a crossover top that I got from The Warehouse many many years ago. It’s super comfortable and crosses over in just the right place – it shows the girls off but not too much, if you know what I mean! I’m going to have to find another crossover top that I love just as much (if you know of any, point me in the right direction!)…
I put my hair in a messy up-do today – a simple go-to style that hides the fact that I haven’t brushed my hair! I don’t often take photos of myself with my hair up, I’m not sure why? I think I look better with my hair out.
Without the cardi, this skirt/dress combo reminds me of this gorgeous dress that Rachel wore for our first Fat Girls Shouldn’t Wear Stripes shoot. Va va voom! I think I need to get a dress like that…
It’s a long weekend in New Zealand this weekend, and I’m looking forward to sunny days filled with lots of relaxing. And catching up on blogging, of course. What are you up to?
