Goodbye 2013!
Someone asked me what I was wearing for New years Eve, and I jokingly answered “a bikini”. Well, it turns out that’s actually what I wore! I spent NYE at the beach with friends, swimming and relaxing, and it was bliss!

I’ve seriously never been happier. 2013 was an amazing year for me, filled with wonderful friends, fantastic opportunities and a total change in attitude towards myself.

I was so busy having fun that I didn’t take any photos of my outfit! I did take a couple today though, because I love this dress and have been wearing it often, but haven’t featured it on the blog yet! How remiss of me!

The celebrations didn’t stop there though – on New Years Day we took a drive down to Taupo to swim in the lake and spend some time with family.

So, that was my new year. It was super fun, and the best NYE I’ve had in a long time. So great to spend time with my friends and family, to be able to swim in the beautiful ocean and then a chilly pristine lake overlooked by a snowcapped mountain (yes! That was a thing! I didn’t take photos of it, I was too busy freezing my butt off in the lake!), and to be able celebrate life with the ones I love.
