Ankle boots for spring

With the rainy spring weather lasting longer than I’d like, I’ve started looking at ankle boots again – because on a rainy day those strappy sandals just won’t cut it!

ASOS New Look Wide Fit Captain Lace Up Ankle Boots

I love lace up boots because I find them the most comfortable. If you’re ordering online and aren’t sure if the boots will fit your ankles, look for stretch panels or laces as they have some more give.

The Iconic Spurr Cavalaro Chelsea Boots

Tan boots are just made for spring and summer – they’re the perfect neutral pairing for white! These remind me of the riding boots I used to have when I was younger, and I think they would look great with jeans of all colours.

You know how much I adore a good pair of brogues, right? Well these brogue ankle boots really take the cake – so smart and perfect for those days when the rain just won’t go away!

Yours Clothing Oxblood Red Pointed Ankle Boots With Gold Trim

I love the gold detailing on these boots, and that little pop of colour is a great way to brighten up those grey days! These boots are in a wide fit, so if you have wider feet and need a bit of extra wiggle room width-wise, check these out.

EziBuy Next Block Heel Ankle Boots

If you’re looking for a higher cut boot, this is one of my faves. It’s better suited to a babe with slimmer legs, as it is straight cut and doesn’t have the lace up or stretch that other styles have.

Those Diana Ferrarri supersoft shoes feel great when you try them on, but unfortunately my sturdy feet and ankles deform them into unwearable stretched-out socks within a few weeks. If you’re tough on your shoes, I would not recommend this brand.

Oh no, really? I’ve always found Diana Ferrarri shoes to be amazing, what a bummer that these stretched! 🙁

Yes, in general Diana Ferrarri is good, it’s just the “supersoft” range that gave me problems.
