It took me a long time to find a hat that looks good. I was always one of those people who said that hats didn’t suit them, but it turns out that I just needed to try on a lot of hats to find some that looked okay. And I mean a lot.
I found this trilby after trying on no less than eight hats in Kmart. Where did I find it? Hiding in the men’s section. It’s a nice light well fitted straw hat that doesn’t have a super wide brim so it won’t fly off my head on a breezy day.
This is a style of hat that is really easy to style – especially for summer. It goes well with shorts and a tank top, jeans and a tee or even a maxi dress. Bring on the warm weather!
Today we went to Cornwall Park and frolicked with sheep. Well, frolicked might be an exaggeration – I saw the sheep and got excited but they weren’t having a baa of it (get it, hehe).
I’m sorry, that was terrible. Anyway, we had a great time. I always find it so relaxing at Cornwall Park. It’s where I go to walk sometimes too – it’s so lovely to be surrounded by nature.
