9 Plus Size Jumpsuits for Spring

As we transition from winter into spring (yes, it’s that time already!), it’s time to start looking at what’s available for warmer weather. One thing I’m seeing a lot of at the moment is jumpsuits. This is one trend I’m keen to try, so here are some of my favourite plus size jumpsuits…

This floral jumpsuit is quite similar to the one I spied on Chastity from Garner Style the other day. I love the bold bright colours (that pink is pretty hot at the moment!) and the wrap front.

Who doesn’t love a bit of animal print? This Dorothy Perkins jumpsuit is available in sizes 6-22 and really is a style that works for both bigger and smaller bodies. I’d pair this with a wide belt to accentuate my waist.

If you’re wanting a little bit of glam, this is a great jumpsuit to go for. The sleek lines and the metallic detailing are absolutely spot on, and the split sleeves make this laid back but still dressy.

Forever 21+ Free Spirit Wide-Leg Jumpsuit, USD $24.80 from Forever 21

Forever 21+ Free Spirit Wide-Leg Jumpsuit, USD $24.80 from Forever 21

I love a simple chic jumpsuit like this for an evening look – pair with a metallic clutch, simple jewellery and heels.

Coral is one of my favourite colours at the moment, and I love the fitted cuffs on this jumpsuit!

I absolutely love the colours in this jumpsuit! They’re more autumnal than what you’d usually think of for spring (which makes sense seeing as the Northern Hemisphere is heading into autumn), but I like the warm earthy tones – definitely my kind of colour palette!

I think that it’s all in the details when you’re going for glam. The diamantés add a little bit of sparkle and the front tie helps to nip in the waist making it effortlessly chic.

So, I’m pretty sold on this jumpsuit idea. They look pretty comfortable – like the far more fashionable equivalent of onesies. For daytime… What do you think of them? Are you already rocking the jumpsuit trend? If so, any tips for plus sized babes thinking of getting their first jumpsuit?

Which jumpsuit would you rock this spring?

mmm I like the miss devine one but jumpsuits are to me a bit to hard to get in and out of I just dread the thought of visiting ladies room and having to sit there um in not very much lol bit to cold …..is like a “onesie” for daytime lol

Having grown up in the ’80s when leotards were all the rage, I totally understand the pain of getting in and out of your entire outfit to go to the bathroom! I’m still pretty keen to try one on though, they look so comfy! I’m all for the daytime onesie 😉 xM

I really want to rock one but with a long torso (and my problem area is my tummy) they just don’t flatter my body shape. Totally in love with the black ASOS and Yours Clothing ones though.

There’s something about the black ones that seems super glam, right? I can’t decide if I want a chic black one or something patterned! xM

I would love to wear one but I am 6 foot and have never found one that fit the proportions of my body properly without looking terrible and making me feel uncomfortable. I am however learning to sew and pattern make so perhaps one day I shall have a funky jumpsuit of my own!

Custom making your own definitely sounds like a great idea! If you are looking online, make sure you check the model’s height & size, that can be a good marker for how it will fit on different bodies (or look at blogs, that can give a you a more accurate idea!) xM

Sorry I don’t do jumpsuits, not on anybody – it is the one thing I have never and prob will never ever get into… 🙂

That’s okay, they’re not everyone’s taste! I’m a bit on the fence about how they’ll look on me because of my proportions, but I’m pretty keen to give it a try! xM
