A few of you have told me that you would love a beautiful new dress to wear on Christmas Day, so I’ve hunted out 10 plus size dresses for Christmas Day to help you feel like the fabulous queen that you are. What style do you like best?

The Iconic Mynt 1792 Chloe Body-Con Tank Dress

Are you a glitz and glam kinda gal? Embrace the golden sequins and let yourself shine! This dress need no accessories other than a gorgeous cuff and a (fake) tan, and if it’s a sunny day then you’ll absolutely sparkle!

ASOS CURVE Maxi Dress In Fluro Floral

Christmas is usually humid in Auckland, so a light maxi dress would be the perfect dress for me. Loose and floaty is ideal as it looks fabulous without leaving you feeling restricted by fabric. I absolutely love the pink and grey, what a gorgeous colour combination!

City Chic MISS SWEET DRESS

I love this polka dot print dress for a pop of Christmas colour without being too in-your-face festive. It’s a gorgeous sweet summer dress that you’ll be able to wear a lot over the summer (once summer finally arrives – it’s 15°C, windy and raining here at the moment!).

The Iconic Harlow Summer Love Faux Wrap Maxi Dress

A little bit of Harlow monochrome love for you! I know a few of you have mentioned that you’ve fallen for the Summer Love Maxi, I have too. I’ll be wearing this a lot over summer as we attempt to fight off the humidity, as it’s such a light breezy fabric that’s super nice to wear – you can see it on me here.

Autograph Spot and Stripe Mid Dress

If your family Christmas is of the more formal variety, then this frock is semi-formal while still being cool and comfortable. The Iconic Hope & Harvest The Island Hopper Dress Super Light

I know a few of you might be giving me the side-eye for suggesting a black frock for Christmas Day, but I don’t care – I’m still so in love with wearing head to toe black! This dress has the added bonus of being super light, so while you look super hot, it’s keeping you cool. Plus, there’s pockets – pockets trump everything!

boohooPLUS Vicky Metallic Plunge Neck Midi Dress

It’s Christmas, so why not go all out and dress to the nines? I love this bronze dress, and I don’t even care that it’s probably a little too dressy for my kind of Christmas. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being dressed like a super fabulous babe if it makes you feel great! Also, for a limited time you can use the code DRESSEDUP and get 20% off all dresses at boohoo.com, so it would be rude not to, right?

SHOP IT: boohoo Plus Vicky Metallic Plunge Neck Midi Dress, $45.00 from boohoo.com

Farmers Estelle Gloria Dress

If you want to rock the metallic look in a slightly more subtle way, then the gold lace on this dress helps you to do just that. I love this midi length, because it’s stylish and looks great on most people, plus it’s not super short so if you have to sit on the floor for Christmas present opening (a must in our house!), you won’t have to worry about it riding up.

SHOP IT: Estelle Gloria Dress, $104.99 from Farmers

The Iconic 17 Sundays Diamond Print Woven Dress With Shirred Waist

This is the same dress I wore to my Grad Show last year, and I think it’s going to be the dress I wear on Christmas Day. It’s so comfortable and can be styled in so many days – and it’s still my favourite 17 Sundays print. Because of winter it’s been a long time since I’ve worn this dress, and I’m dying to have the chance to wear it again! There is extremely limited stock of this dress as it was so popular, so if you can get your hands on it, grab it!

SHOP IT: 17 Sundays Atari Baby Shirred Waist Dress, AUD $64.98 (down from AUD 129.95) from The Iconic

Yay, that is seriously the greatest print. I’m so sad I missed out on the pants – a friend of mine has them and they look so amazing!

Well, I adore the Island Hopper dress, but as you know, I never shy away from wearing head to toe black for any and all occasions!
