10 bras that you’ll want to show off

NZBCF Gorgeous Bras

I’ve been on a bit of a bra-buying mission lately, because I think it’s important to have nice bras that fit well (a great outfit begins with a good foundation, after all!) and I wanted to show my body a bit of love. When was the last time you showed your boobs a bit of TLC? It’s time to ditch those ill fitting bras – here are 10 gorgeous bras to help you look and feel fancy under your clothes.

I love Rose & Thorne’s lingerie because they really put a lot of thought into the body shapes they are designing for. The best part is that they create a number of different fits (e.g.  the En Forme styles are supportive without being padded and gently move your bust forward, while the Curvylicious style is a lightly padded balconette bra that curves and gives you a gentle lift), and each season they commit to keeping the same fit with some different style and neckline options – which makes it super easy to keep buying great bras. Available from size 10A to 24E from Rose & Thorne.

City Chic has stylish lingerie that my friend Glam absolutely swears by. They’re supportive, comfortable and City Chic releases new designs all the time so there is always plenty to choose from, whether you’re after a basic every day bra or something a little bit fancy. Available from size 16B to 24J from City Chic.

You’ve heard me rave about the selection from Yours Clothing before, and their bra selection is no different. You can choose from top brands like Elomi and Goddess, in styles like moulded, plunge and non-wired soft cup. Each style comes with different colour/print options, meaning the choices are plentiful. Available in band sizes 38-54 16-32 and cup sizes B-J from Yours Clothing.

Those are ten bras I’m loving at the moment, but of course there are plenty more out there! Check out Ewa Michalak, Hips & Curves, Autograph and Avokado in addition to the places I’ve mentioned above.

What style of bra do you like to wear?
I’m a full cup with underwire and a little lace kind of gal!

I can vouch for the fact that the Mila bra by City Chic is incredibly comfortable – I was thinking it might not be due to the style, but it is one of my go-to bras right now! I’m an 18G-H in their sizing, and it is comfortable and supportive.

My current favourite bra is from the brand Evolove, and its kind of long line which is cool looking and really comfortable. I have a city chic bra but I feel like the underwire comes up really high and it stabs me in the side boob area so I only wear it when neccessary (nude bra). I also have like 5 rose and thorne bras but ive gained weight so they dont currently fit, I really want to get some more but I’m not sure of my size!

I love the look of long line bras! You should make an appointment for a fitting with Rose & Thorne at their Cross St studio, I really enjoy the fitting experience there
